ugly win

On Tuesday our soccer team improved to 7-0-1 with a 5-0 win over West Jefferson. It was a really bad game for us. We weren't creating any offense. It was only 1-0 until about 20 minutes left in the game. Then we scored 4 goals in 2 minutes. Hopefully we can play a lot better on Thursday against conference foe River Valley. It's at 5:00 at our field.

Polls are messed up

Somehow, after beating Tree of Life in a scrimmage 1-0, tying Delaware Christian 1-1, and beating Wellington 3-0 isn't enough for us to move up in the D3 polls. We stayed 10th in the latest poll, behind all three teams. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

On Saturday, the Fairbanks soccer team played the Wellington Jaguars, winning 3-0. Alex Johnson, Ryan Rausch, and Kyle Weese all scored, and the defense and Derrick Dupuis shut out their offense. Our record is now 5-0-1. Next game: @ West Jefferson Tuesday Sept. 18
